An IT Company That Needed Its Own Website Done Right
NETK5 has been providing IT infrastructure services to international companies in China since 2002. Network installation, helpdesk, Wi-Fi design, cybersecurity, cloud hosting, data backup. Clients include De Beers and Orpea, covering everything from Shanghai flagship stores to factory floors.
They know IT in China better than almost anyone. But knowing infrastructure and knowing how to turn 20+ years of experience into a website that communicates clearly to a new visitor are two very different problems. The issue wasn’t technical skill. It was content. How do you organise that breadth of expertise so a prospective client doesn’t get lost on the first click?

Organising Two Decades of Expertise
We started with content structure and strategy. NETK5’s offering is broad: managed IT, network installation, Wi-Fi surveys, hosting, helpdesk, cybersecurity, cloud. They serve SMEs and multinationals across offices, factories, warehouses, retail. The question wasn’t what they could do. It was how to organise it so different visitors, an IT manager evaluating outsourcing, an operations director setting up a factory, a business owner who just needs the Wi-Fi handled, could each find what mattered to them.
WordPress, Hosting, and Integration
With the strategy locked in we built the site on WordPress and handled the technical integration. Hosted in China on local servers, which for a company whose entire client base is in China or doing business there, isn’t optional. No blocked dependencies, no external scripts dragging things down from behind the Great Firewall. For a company that sells IT reliability, their own site had to reflect that.
After launch we put maintenance and support in place: security updates, performance monitoring, content updates as NETK5 keeps adding services and publishing content.
Scope of work: Content structure and strategy, WordPress hosting in China, technical integration, maintenance and support.
The Outcome
NETK5’s WordPress site now communicates over two decades of IT services experience to international companies in China. Fast, locally hosted, structured so different audiences can find what they need. For a company that built its reputation on making IT work in China, their own website finally does the same job.
