The Challenge: The Audience Splits in Two, So Does the Network
BeyondBridge grows Chinese companies overseas. Their pitch to a manufacturer in Shenzhen is “we’ll build you a brand Western buyers ask for by name.” So their own site has to do two jobs at once.
A Chinese factory owner reads the Chinese version, from inside China, on a mainland connection. A procurement lead in Germany reads the English version, from Frankfurt, expecting it to feel native. Same site, two audiences, and the network between them runs through the Great Firewall.
Get the hosting wrong and one side always suffers. Host everything abroad and the Chinese pages drag for the exact prospects BeyondBridge is trying to win. Host everything in China and the English side loses speed for Western buyers. They needed both halves fast in their own region.

The Build: Two Front Doors, Each Tuned to Its Side
We built the site bilingual at the structural level. The Chinese pages were authored in their own right, written for a mainland reader, with the right tone for a manufacturer weighing whether this agency really understands export.
Delivery is where the work paid off. The Chinese version is filed with ICP and served from inside China, so it opens quickly for prospects in Shenzhen or Ningbo. The English version is served from edge infrastructure close to Western buyers. One brand, one design system, two delivery paths that each match where the reader actually sits.
We also set the site up to be cited by AI search, since a growing share of Western buyers now ask an assistant before they ask a salesperson. Clean structure, answerable content, machine-readable from the start.
The Outcome: Fast in Shenzhen, Fast in Frankfurt
BeyondBridge now has one website that loads quickly on both sides of the firewall. A Chinese manufacturer gets a fast, locally hosted Chinese site. A Western buyer gets a fast English one. Neither waits on the other’s infrastructure.
For an agency whose whole business is closing the distance between China and the West, having a site that actually performs in both places matters more than most.
“Our clients are in China and their buyers are not. We needed both to feel like the site was built next door. That’s exactly how it loads now, in Chinese here and in English over there.”
