A LinkedIn Agency Whose Site Still Had to Work in China

Nuvora Studio sells LinkedIn, a platform China blocks. Their team and a good share of their prospects sit on the mainland, so their own multilingual site had to load there regardless.

The Challenge: The Platform Is Blocked, the Site Can’t Be

Nuvora Studio does one thing: turn LinkedIn into a B2B company’s top sales channel. There’s an obvious wrinkle. LinkedIn barely functions inside China.

That doesn’t make their China problem go away. Nuvora’s own team works partly from the mainland, and so do plenty of the multinational decision-makers they pitch. Their site runs in five languages, Chinese included. So while the product they sell lives on a platform the firewall blocks, the website that sells it has to open cleanly in Shanghai.

It didn’t. Hosted abroad, leaning on the usual overseas services, it loaded slowly from the mainland and stumbled on a few resources the firewall throttles. There was also a free Profile Optimizer tool on the site that had to keep working wherever a visitor sat.

The Build: Fast on the Mainland, Tool and All

We rebuilt the site on hosting inside China, filed ICP, and stripped out the overseas dependencies that were dragging load times for mainland visitors. The five languages stayed, wired up with proper hreflang so each one stands on its own.

The Profile Optimizer needed care. An interactive tool is the kind of thing that quietly breaks behind the firewall if it phones home to a blocked service, so we rebuilt it to run on infrastructure that’s reachable from China.

We also tuned the whole site for AI search. Nuvora’s buyers increasingly ask an assistant who’s good at B2B LinkedIn before they ask a colleague, and we wanted Nuvora to be the answer. Structured, citable, machine-readable.

The Outcome: A Site That Opens Where Its Buyers Sit

Nuvora’s site now loads fast from inside China, tool included, fully filed, with nothing left waiting on a blocked server. Their mainland team and their China-based prospects get the same quick site everyone else does.

There’s a small irony in building a fast China site for a LinkedIn agency. It mattered anyway, because the people deciding whether to hire Nuvora are often sitting right here.

“Half our buyers are in China even though LinkedIn isn’t. Our site had to load for them, and now it does, faster than the version we were running before.”
